What is Botox?

It is an injectable substance of botulinum toxin type A – Onabotulinumtoxin, which relaxes the facial muscles causing wrinkles and fine lines. The procedure of Botox administration is simple. Your aesthetic practitioner will use the fine needles to administer the recommended dose to the target areas. The complete procedure usually takes ten to fifteen minutes to get completed. How many units do I need?
It will vary between patients based on the muscle strength, size of surface area, and number of areas treated. The FDA approved dosing for Botox is 64 units for the glabella, forehead, and crow’s feet.
