What is Sylfirm X?
Sylfirm X is a skin treatment that combines microneedling with radiofrequency (RF) heat. Due to its unique technology of radiofrequency pulse and continuous waves, Sylfirm X is the most advanced device available on the market today for total skin rejuvenation. It is the only dual pulse wave RF microneedling device, which allows the treatment penetrate deep or superficially depending on the targeted areas. What does Sylfirm X treat?
Sylfirm X is designed to treat skin laxity, tone, and texture while being appropriate for all skin types. Being a powerful contouring tool, it can tighten crepey skin around the face, eye area, and neck, and can help reduce jowls. With its different settings of pulse-wave & continuous-wave, it can also treat various skin issues such as melasma, post inflammatory hyperpigmentation, rosacea, and acne scars. While the skin and neck are common areas of treatment for Sylfirm X, it can also be used to tighten skin on areas like that abdomen and inner arms with noticeable results.
Sylfirm X uses the most advanced radiofrequency technology available; because of this, the results are significant in comparison to other radiofrequency devices as the benefits can be noticeable immediately, there is virtually no downtime and patients report little to no pain.
The procedure of Sylfirm X is relatively simple. Your aesthetic provider will numb the area to be treated for 30-40 mins. They will then thoroughly cleanse the area and begin using the device by gently placing the wand on the skin. The machine begins pulsing gentle and effective radiofrequencies through the 24-karat gold coated tips, which create controlled micro channels in the skin. After the procedure is complete, a serum of exosomes are applied to the treated area.
Exosomes are a regenerative medicine serum of plasma that contains stem cells & growth factors. Will there be any downtime?
There may be redness and mild swelling for up to 36 hours post treatment, but most patients can return to normal activities the day after treatment. We also apply Exosomes post treatment, which helps the skin heal significantly faster.
What is the difference between traditional microneedling and Sylfirm X?
Sylfirm X is a microneedling treatment that combines the use of micro heat waves (radiofrequency) to help tighten the skin and result in even more pronounced rejuvenation than would a traditional microneedling treatment.
How many treatments will I need?
We recommend a series of 3 treatments spread one month apart, but many patients are seeing results after 1-2 treatments
Is Sylfirm painful?
Our patients are numbed for 30-45 minutes prior to the procedure and patients tolerate the treatment well. We also offer Pronox -nitrous oxide laughing gas - to help patients feel even more comfortable during the procedure.
How soon will I see results and how long do the results last for?
You can see results within a day of receiving the Sylfirm X treatment. While you may have mild redness for 24-36 hours post procedure, the process has already begun to work from the time of the treatment and the topical placement of exosomes. The skin tightening effects as well as the reduction of pigmentation will be visible following the treatment. You can expect the tightening to last for as long as you keep maintenance of your skin, at least 6 months or longer. The collagen building effects continue on for days or even weeks after the treatment and the exosomes being applied. You will get a noticeable improvement from the microneedling a few days after treatment. However, the collagen stimulation from the heat will continue to form after 4 weeks which creates a longer lasting effect.
We suggest repeating the treatment every 6 months to 1 year, whenever you feel your skin needs a boost.
